On Summer Institute 2006

The Summer Institute 2006 will have seven lectures on particle physics and cosmology by invited speakers and various short talks. However, the main purpose of the meeting is to promote interaction and discussion about research topics among the participants, rather than to give pedagogical lectures for students. We hope that new ideas and research activities will be initiated at this institute.

- The program is relaxed to keep enough time for discussions.
- Informal sessions will be flexibly organized encouraging lively discussions.
- Participants are asked to write a note about their recent research activities and interests when in filling the application form. This note will be helpful for promoting interactions among participants.

The Summer Institute 2006 is sponsored by the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics and the BK 21 program of the Department of Physics, KAIST.
