JRG - Junior Research Groups
We aim at revealing universal structures or governing principles behind complex physical phenomena in a variety of systems including QCD matter, fractonic systems, chemical reaction networks, and so on.
Professor Yuji Hirono is a Junior Research Group Leader at APCTP. He obtained his Ph. D from the University of Tokyo in 2014. After working as a postdoc at the Stony Brook University and the Brookhaven National Laboratory, he joined APCTP in Sep. 2018. He received the Young Scientist Award of the Physical Society of Japan in 2021.
