Non-Hermitian Physics postdoctoral research fellow position in theoretical physics at the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP), Pohang, South Korea.
This position will be part of the Junior Research Group "Non-Hermitian Physics" lead by Dr. Zhesen Yang
APCTP (www.apctp.org), founded in 1996, is an international organization dedicated to excellence in research and the training of young scientists in the Asia-Pacific region. APCTP offers a unique research environment incorporating a large diversity of fields (particle physics, statistical physics, string theory, condensed matter, cosmology).
PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics (completed by start date). Strong background in non-Hermitian physics or quantum many-body theory. The successful candidate will conduct research in one of the following areas:
Non-Hermitian/non-equilibrium physics, Topological phases of matter, or Quantum many-body theory
Proficiency in analytical/numerical methods (e.g., Mathematica).
Duration: 1 years (renewable contingent on performance).
