The Junior Research Group (JRG), "Particle Physics Phenomenology", led by Prof. Shohei Okawa, invites applications for two postdoctoral positions. The group is based at Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) in Pohang, South Korea (please visit www.apctp.org for more information).
APCTP, founded in 1996, is an international organization dedicated to excellence in research and the training of young scientists in the Asia-Pacific region. APCTP offers a great research environment with strong connections to a number of active theoretical and experimental research groups at the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). APCTP has broad international agreements with many leading institutions around the globe for scientific exchanges.
Our research group focuses on phenomenological particle physics and related areas, including early universe cosmology, astroparticle physics and quantum physics. Successful candidates are expected to actively engage in collaborative research with group members at APCTP as well as with researchers at partner institutes, while also pursuing their own independent projects. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in a relevant field by the time of appointment. The initial appointment is for one year, with a possibility of renewal for up to two additional years upon mutual agreement. The starting date is negotiable but will be no earlier than October 2025.
The following application documents should be sent electronically to shohei.okawa@apctp.org
