Recently, I am interested in the collective phenomena on complex networks. The synchronization is one of the collective phenomena and observed ubiquitously. The dynamics of AC power on the grid system is a good example where the synchronization phenomena play an important role. I and my coworkers have developed transferable machine learning models and shown that the machine learning approaches are applicable to predict the stability of power-grid systems.We are now focusing on the cascading failure of power systems and the machine prediction of the power dynamics. Another research topic I am interested in is the opinion formation on complex networks.Introducing the memory effect on the opinion dynamics, I plan to investigate the opinion polarization and consensus which are observed in human society.
